Mr. M Anandan is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He had an illustrious career of over four decades in the financial services industry majority part of which was in Murugappa Group (1976-2008)
A veteran in Financial Services, intimately involved with the birth and growth of a range of financial services under the Cholamandalam umbrella (1988 to 2008).
Mr. M Anandan was Executive Director (1997-2000) Managing Director (2000 – 2006) of Cholamandalam Investments and Finance. He was Managing Director (2006-2008) of Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company, a Joint Venture with Mitsui Sumitomo, a leading Japanese Insurance Group. He was also CEO / Director of the Financial Services Businesses in Murugappa Group.
Between 2008 – 2015 he was:
- Non-whole time Director in Equitas Micro Finance Ltd.
- Independent Director in Manappuram Finance Ltd.
- Chairman of Five Star Business Credits Ltd.
Mr. Anandan is the founder and Executive Chairman of Aptus Value Housing Finance India Limited. This company is in the 15th Year of operations with 262 branches and about 2,923 employees.
With a proven track record for building successful businesses, his experience in the financial services industry spans over four decades.
